Demand Planning Manager at Marvell in Santa Clara, CA

Job description

• The Demand Planning team plays a critical role in driving accurate, data-informed forecasts that support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. This team (1) drives the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, (2) collaborates closely with Business Units to capture market intelligence, customer trends, and new product introductions, and (3) influences executive-level decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for improving demand forecast accuracy using advanced forecasting techniques
• Drive adoption and improvement of Statistical models using Machine Learning
• Analyze Market trends, backlog, bookings, point-of-sales, and etc. against historical trends to identify anomalies
• Create targeted forecasting techniques for various customer and product segmentation
• Publish and monitor supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ad-hoc projects that involving cross-functional teams from Finance, Sales and Product Marketing teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, data science, or related fields with 8+ years of related professional Demand Planning and/or Supply Chain experience OR Master’s degree with 5 years of experience
• Demonstrable experience in implementing ML (Machine Learning) models for forecasting, and integrating Market intelligence in the process
• Proficiency in MS Office suite; high proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI
• Semiconductor Industry experience
• Experience in using LLM (Large Language Models) for forecasting
• Experience in guiding and coaching teams
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• 121,490 - 182,000, $ per annum
• The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
