Job description

• Marvell is a leading provider of innovative technologies, including ultra-fast read channels, high-performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) and solid-state drive (SSD) electronics markets, providing complete solutions including controllers, product firmware, and reference board designs. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of SERDES/D2D firmware for reliable, scalable, high performing network systems using embedded C/C++
• Develop new features and enhance existing features for Marvell MCU coprocessors and hardware-based accelerators
• Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware
• Analyze and investigate methods to enhance software performance on Marvell SoC by eliminating bottle-necks using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements
• Work with system validation team and cross functional hardware/software engineers to understand and solve customer issues
• Work on networking products, design and develop firmware and software networking products

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience

• Experience with MCU Firmware
• Hardware bring-up on MCU, JTAG and GPIO
• Ethernet protocol familiarity
• Programming experience with Python or Assembly a plus

• 131,010 - 196,300, $ per annum
• The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
