- We have an existing vacancy available within our dynamic and growing firm for an Administrative Assistant/Copy Centre Clerk at our Barrie location.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming and inter-office mail and couriers.
- Prepare and deliver registered mail to the Canada Post office.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the office bistro, including dishwashing and appliance upkeep.
- Provide front desk and client service coverage during lunch hours, vacations, or as needed.
- Assist with general office maintenance and facility tasks.
- Maintain office printing equipment by refilling paper and replacing toner cartridges as required.
- Operate photocopiers and scanners to produce high-quality copies and digital files.
- Bind, organize, and prepare legal documents.
- Pick up and deliver time-sensitive documents and packages between offices, courts, banks, and City Hall.
- Handle bank-related tasks such as deposits, cheque certifications, and payouts.
- Attend City Hall for tasks including verbal confirmations, arrears payments, and obtaining certificates.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience in an office or legal environment.
- A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in an office or legal environment.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle.
- Proficiency with standard office software and equipment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong emphasis on client experience.
- Program-specific IT training will be provided through our in-house IT staff, as required, on an ongoing basis.
