Business/Data Analyst - Training & Certification at Red Hat in Bangalore - Carina

Job description

• The Red Hat Training and Certification team is seeking a customer-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented professional to join the RHLS Engagement team. This role is responsible for using data, analytics, and business insights to drive customer engagement, increase consumption, and support renewals for Red Hat Learning Subscription (RHLS) customers throughout the post-sale lifecycle. The role combines data science, business analysis, and customer engagement, requiring the ability to translate business and customer needs into data-driven solutions and actionable insights. The individual will work closely with RH data teams, regional sales leaders, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders globally to understand business requirements, integrate data from multiple sources, and develop scalable reporting, models, and monitoring mechanisms to track RHLS consumption and engagement metrics.

Responsibilities

• Establish regular touchpoints with internal stakeholders to understand learning progress, identify adoption challenges, maximize the value of RHLS subscriptions, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Collect, integrate, and analyze data from multiple internal sources to develop a comprehensive view of customer engagement, learning consumption, subscription health, and renewal readiness.
• Build and maintain analytical models, reports, dashboards, and automated monitoring mechanisms to provide leadership and regional teams with visibility into consumption patterns, engagement trends, and key business metrics.
• Partner with sales teams, RH data teams, and other internal functions to gather inputs and business requirements, translate them into data and analytics solutions, and implement initiatives that improve learning consumption.
• Leverage SQL, Python, and machine learning techniques to integrate data sources, build scalable data solutions, and develop tools that enable automated and data-driven decision-making.
• Continuously analyze consumption and usage data to identify trends, customer segments, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement. Leverage these insights to develop and execute proactive customer engagement and renewal strategies.
• Define and document business requirements, KPIs, and success measures, and collaborate with technical and data teams to enhance data sources, reporting systems, processes, and analytical capabilities.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and leaders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, business analysis, customer success analytics, or a related field, with a track record of using data to solve business and customer challenges.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, statistical analysis and machine learning with experience integrating multiple data sources, building scalable data solutions, analytical models, and automated reporting capabilities.
• Strong reporting and data visualization skills, with the ability to independently build accurate dashboards, reports, KPIs, and monitoring solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills, including gathering requirements, defining KPIs, translating business needs into data solutions, and collaborating effectively with sales, regional, data, and cross-functional teams.
• Customer-centric and results-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast paced environments.
