Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Lead comprehensive competitive analysis and benchmarking across all sales channels to monitor fare structures and competitor activity.
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Utilize advanced tools like Power BI, SQL, CIRIUM, and ARC to perform day-to-day analysis. Develop statistical models to evaluate price elasticity, product and pricing dynamics.
- Strategic Reporting: Track competitor fare fencing and deliver actionable reports & dashboards to global clients.
- Revenue Protection: Monitor revenue protection measures and support partner projects, ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Collaboration: Build data-driven presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and initiate roadmap for process improvements.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and PowerPoint for data visualization.
- Industry Tools: Experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus or Sabre is essential and understanding of airline tariffs, fuel cost impact and seasonal demand,.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis, demand forecasting, and competitor benchmarking.
- Experience: Typically 2+ years in travel trade or airline pricing, fare filing, or revenue management.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem‑solving, cross‑functional coordination, and communication skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
