• OVERVIEW: On Demand Counseling is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. barriers to treatment and recovery by connecting them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
• SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant provides clerical, clinical, and client support services, ensuring
• efficient operations, quality care, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, medical history, and reason for the visit.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing inquiries.
• Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Obtain records and all information needed before patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with front desk duties as needed.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and streamline clinic operations.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Medical Assistant certification preferred although not required.
• Ability to pass background check (BCI/FBI) and drug screeN.
