Training Operations Manager at IAPP in Portsmouth, NH

Job description

• The Training Operations Manager role is responsible for assuring successful day-to-day operations of the training department including oversight of the launch and delivery of IAPP training products, quality management of trainers, process documentation and improvement, and managing logistics of IAPP training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee faculty coordination and communication, faculty network, faculty handbook and agreements
• Oversee all operational and logistical aspects of virtual and in-person trainings
• Supports the maintenance of a master schedule of training, trainers and facilitators
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to IAPP training and delivery fulfillment
• Evaluate trainings and trainer performance to support continual improvement and ensure customer satisfaction
• Liaise with marketing, sales, and fulfillment teams to support the success of training products and events
• Team lead for training at several conferences per year
• Oversees document preparation for conference trainings including training staff information packet and event wrap up document
• Drive process improvement and documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely tracking of training contributions
• Support organization-wide growth and development of operations
• Monitor instructor-led training feedback to better understand and service our customers
• Manage the performance of a team through selection, training and performance feedback delivery
• Adhere to department budget so that deliverables are on-time and within budget
• Promote IAPP culture and core values
• Some U.S. and international travel required
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
