Job description

• Our client is a full service, multi-discipline, consulting engineering firm specializing in detail design, project and construction management services for the commercial and industrial sectors.
• We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a PE License! You need to have a background in commercial electrical design projects and be familiar with electrical codes and navigating/communicating with building code enforcement officials. Consulting engineering background is a plus. You will be responsible for all electrical project design throughout the firm. There are also opportunities to move into management or into sales/marketing if interested.

Responsibilities

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial and commercial purposes.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Discipline
• PE License
• 5+ years of experience
