• South Country Health Alliance has an immediate need for a Senior Business Systems Analyst!
• The Senior Business Systems Analyst leads complex business, technology, and process improvement initiatives that require advanced analytical, technical, and project leadership skills. This position partners with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, solve complex business and technology challenges, conduct independent research, develop practical and innovative solutions, and guide projects from concept through implementation. The Senior Business Systems Analyst applies deep business and technical knowledge to analyze complex data, improve organizational processes, support strategic decision-making, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze South Country Health Alliance’s technical systems for efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Develop and manage project plans that promote improvement to these systems. 20%
• Manage project teams so that project risks can be identified, and solutions created and implemented.15%
• Proactively insert self into the business and identifies areas for improvement in processes and systems. Work with the Business Analyst to translate these needs into technical requirements.15%
• Utilize analytical tools such as Power BI and SQL to interpret and analyze complex medical and enrollment data sets, producing insight in a way that enables informed decision-making. 20%
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged.10%
• Provide mentorship to other staff members within the organization.10%
• Other duties assigned within the scope, responsibility, and requirements of the job.10%

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; degrees in Technology, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields are preferred.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience performing senior-level business systems analysis, including independent research, solution design, technical problem resolution, analysis of complex datasets, and translation of business needs into technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and enterprise-scale initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, project coordination, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Preferred: Previous experience with Medicaid or Medicare health data, especially medical claims and enrollment.
• Skills: Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated abilities in team building and leadership; advanced technical expertise, such troubleshooting, analytics, research, and SQL coding; knowledge of the advanced principles and practices of project management and workflow analysis; exceptional conflict and problem resolution skills; strong organization and critical thinking skills; proficient in providing high-level customer service; self-starter and ability to take initiative.

Errors that are not easily detected may have a critical impact on the organization.
• Must use sound judgment and advanced analytical skills to evaluate complex business and system issues, identify practical solutions, and support effective decision-making and project planning.

This pay range represents the hourly rate for all positions in the job grade. The actual salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and other relevant factors.
