Data & Analytics Intern - Summer 2027 at SERVPRO in Gallatin, TN

Job description

• This full-time internship will run from May 24 through July 31, 2027, and will be based at SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Please note that housing, relocation assistance, and other accommodations are not provided by the Company.
• The Data & Analytics Intern's goal is to understand day-to-day operations within the SERVPRO organization. Through interning with our Data & Analytics team, the intern will obtain an understanding of business drivers and industry trends. The Data & Analytics Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in business data analysis, data visualization, and data management. The Data & Analytics Intern will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to their growth and development.

Responsibilities

• You will
• Participate in weekly intern activies as scheduled and assigned.
• Attend team meetings and department events.
• Shadow experienced employees to learn business operations.
• Assist with department projects and initiatives.
• Analyze data and prepare reports.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in special projects assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• You have
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Early-stage proficiency in PowerBI or Tableau data visualization.
• Working knowledge of databases and writing SQL.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and creative mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Python, R and SQL is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled in college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data & Analytics, Data Science, Applied AI or a related field.
