- A leading data and AI technology company seeks a Business Development Contractor for a six-month remote engagement. This role identifies new opportunities, builds pipeline, and grows the partner and customer ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target markets
- Build and maintain pipeline through strategic outreach, networking, and referrals
- Engage prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams on proposals
- Track all activity and opportunities accurately in CRM
- Report on pipeline progress, conversion metrics, and market insights
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B business development or sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
- Ability to work fully remote with minimal supervision
- Experience in technology, data analytics, or cloud markets
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles
- SaaS or platform-based business development background
