• Diamond Guard Insurance is growing, and we're adding experienced sales professionals to our team.
• As an Insurance Sales Representative, you'll help Texas families protect what's most important to them with Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, Motorcycle, Boat, and other personal insurance solutions.
• We provide a steady flow of sales opportunities, a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, training, coaching, and a proven sales process.
• Your job is to turn those opportunities into customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospective customers and identify their insurance needs
• Prepare insurance quotes and present coverage recommendations
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations rather than simply providing prices
• Handle questions and objections confidently
• Ask for and close the sale
• Follow up consistently with prospects who have not yet purchased
• Manage your sales pipeline and opportunities
• Generate additional opportunities through referrals, networking, and personal connections
• Meet established activity and production expectations
• Continuously improve your sales skills and insurance knowledge

Requirements

• Prior sales experience is required for this position.
• You do not need insurance experience and you do not need to already have an insurance license. We can teach insurance and provide the assistance to become licensed.
• What we are looking for is something different: someone who already knows how to sell.
• You should have experience talking with prospects, identifying needs, presenting solutions, overcoming objections, asking for the business, and working toward measurable sales goals.
• Customer service or client-facing experience without a demonstrated sales component does not meet the experience requirement for this position.
• This is also a full-time, in-office position in Bedford, TX. It is not remote or hybrid.
• Required
• Prior sales experience with demonstrated responsibility for generating sales, closing business, and/or meeting sales goals
• Proven history of working toward measurable performance expectations
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Confidence discussing price, handling objections, and asking for the sale
• Self-motivation and a strong desire to achieve
• Coachability and willingness to continuously improve
• Ability to work Monday–Friday in our Bedford, TX office
• Reliable transportation to commute to the office
• Not Required
• Prior insurance experience
• An existing Property & Casualty insurance license
• We'll provide insurance-specific training and help the right sales professional learn our products, systems, and sales process.
