• Job Purpose
• The ICE MT Compliance team is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who has experience in the Mortgage domain. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining automation test frameworks and automation test scripts.
• The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires frequent interactions with project and product managers, developers, QA and other stakeholders, to ensure delivery of a world class compliance solution to our users.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain automated test scripts.
• Enhance and extend automation libraries and frameworks
• Build Testing Tools and Mock Services
• Ability to blend analytical/technical skills to test functionality, build test scripts and view the product from Customer perspective.
• Interact effectively across multiple teams and functions.
• Willingness to be adaptable with a team first focus.
• Participate in demos, retrospectives, and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Diagnose problems and report bugs/observations
• Work closely with Product, Developers, QA and other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions.
• Work closely with functional test engineers to ensure the test cases are automated as documented.
• May require overtime or off-peak hours to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university.
• 6+ years of experience in Software Development or Quality Engineering
• Experience working in the Mortgage Domain preferable on a Loan Origination System.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test plan/strategy, create and execute test cases, track defects and report results
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages
• Familiarity with JSON and XML
• Proficient in testing Web Based/Client Server based applications
• Must have in depth knowledge in automating AWS, API, RESTful web service testing using JAVA
• Must have experience in Database (Mysql, SQLserver)
• Must have experience with Logging tools such as Splunk, Kibana, etc.
• Must have in-depth knowledge in using TestNG, Maven and Jenkins.
• Self-motivated, able to learn and research independently
• Ability to innovate and optimize
• Ability to effectively communicate relevant project information with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.
