Job description

• Henham Strategy is looking for talented, enthusiastic people early in their careers in public affairs and policy to join us as a Researcher in our London-based team.
• The ideal candidate is someone who wants to use their passion for UK policy and politics
• in a fast-paced, business environment. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with curiosity about the world and a hunger to learn, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to grow their networks. In supporting the team as we deliver high quality work for our clients, we are looking for people who are organised, diligent and have good attention to detail.
• The successful candidate would ideally have some experience in policy or politics.

Responsibilities

• Researchers are responsible for leading research on political and policy-related issues on behalf of our client base. The role is varied but typical tasks include:
• Developing briefing and stakeholder mapping material;
• Compiling accurate monitoring reports for clients;
• Carrying out both qualitative and quantitative research and policy analysis on a variety of different topics;
• Supporting with organising client events such as Parliamentary receptions;
• Attending relevant meetings and events on behalf of clients;
• Starting to establish business and political networks;
• Monitoring media, news and updates on a variety of client portfolios.
