Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective buyers through both in-person and online channels to understand their needs and provide tailored vehicle recommendations.
• Manage internet sales inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact through closing.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of our vehicle inventory, product features, pricing, and promotions to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team and dealership staff to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Follow up with customers after sales to foster strong relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Engage with customers in-person and online, providing outstanding service and product knowledge.
• Manage internet sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Develop relationships with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
• Negotiate and close sales deals effectively to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, pricing, and promotions at Gilroy GMC.
• Assist with vehicle demonstrations and test drives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive sales or a related customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfortable working with internet-based sales platforms and digital communication tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and inquiries simultaneously.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Previous sales experience, preferably in automotive or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with internet sales platforms is a plus.
• Reliable and customer-oriented with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
