• Tom Wood Honda is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Assistant Service Advisor to support our service team in delivering a best-in-class automotive service experience. This role works closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, and customers to ensure efficient service operations, accurate documentation, and exceptional communication throughout the repair process.
• This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a Service Advisor role while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience & Communication
• Deliver a warm, professional, concierge-level greeting to every client
• Actively listen to customer concerns and clearly explain service recommendations
• Maintain consistent communication regarding repair status, timelines, and additional needs
• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business
• Service & Repair Coordination
• Accurately write repair orders reflecting customer concerns and technician findings
• Collaborate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance
• Review completed work with customers and explain findings clearly and confidently
• Sales & Performance
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition
• Achieve service sales goals while maintaining honesty, transparency, and trust
• Promote dealership programs, warranties, and service packages

Requirements

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair processes
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with dealership management systems (Xtime, Dealertrack, etc.)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury brand
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
