Responsibilities

• - Collaborate with a dedicated Packaging Design Manager through all stages of the design process, from concept to production.
• - Create packaging systems that prioritize both visual appeal and practical needs, ensuring brand integrity is maintained.
• - Assess packaging concepts for design quality, material choices, and production feasibility, making adjustments as necessary.
• - Engage with cross-functional teams to address design challenges and meet project deadlines.
• - Mentor junior team members, helping them enhance their skills and navigate their projects.
• - Stay ahead of consumer trends and apply insights to elevate packaging designs.
• - Manage project timelines and collaborate with production teams to finalize designs.

Requirements

• - A bachelors degree in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field.
• - 5-8 years of experience in packaging design within the consumer products sector, ideally toy, pet or kids brands.
• - Strong graphic design skills with a flair for innovation.
• - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of printing processes.
• - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• - Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Benefits

• Hourly rate is $34-36/hr, DOE.
