We're on the hunt for a talented Production Packaging Designer to support our retail client and their Private Brand Packaging and Marketing creative team. Our ideal candidate is an experienced packaging and production design and branding professional who:
• Has a sophisticated and astute design eye and strong branding skills
• Is a critical problem-solver with the ability to create, consistent, on-brand, detailed design, and branding solutions
• Partners with a cohesive, highly engaged team that values collaboration and shares a quest for creative excellence
• Possesses an excellent understanding of print packaging, print production, and packaging manufacturing (substrates, die lines, colors, print processes, UPC, barcodes, etc.)
• Has a strong background in 360 design and print production (creative marketing, print collateral, presentations, promotions, and trade events are ideal) along with vendor experience

Responsibilities

• Support retail client and their Private Brand Packaging and Marketing creative team
• Create consistent, on-brand, detailed design, and branding solutions
• Partner with a cohesive, highly engaged team that values collaboration and shares a quest for creative excellence

Requirements

• Min 4+ years of experience in packaging, creative, marketing, and brand design, international experience is preferred
• Bachelors Degree in graphic design
• Broad knowledge of the packaging design concepts supporting the current brand strategy
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong background in 360 print production (creative marketing, print collateral, promotions, and trade events are ideal) along with vendor experience
• Comprehensive understanding of design principles, typography, and brand standards
• Excellent understanding of print packaging, print production, and packaging manufacturing (substrates, die lines, colors, print processes, UPC, barcodes, etc.).
• Experience with private label brands and a range of consumer packaged goods (CPG) is preferred
