Responsibilities

• As a key member of the dealership's leadership team, you will:
• Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
• Recruit, train, and develop Sales Consultants to maximize performance and career growth.
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals while holding the team accountable for results.
• Work closely with customers to ensure an exceptional purchasing experience and resolve escalated customer concerns professionally.
• Partner with the Finance & Insurance Department to ensure a seamless sales and delivery process.
• Analyze sales reports, customer traffic, closing ratios, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase vehicle sales, profitability, and market share.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with management to maintain an inventory mix that meets customer demand.
• Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and federal and state regulations.
• Lead by example by promoting professionalism, ethical sales practices, and outstanding customer service.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and manufacturer programs to maintain a competitive advantage.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or Sales Team Leader required.
• Demonstrated success achieving dealership sales and profitability goals.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Thorough understanding of dealership operations, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
• Experience analyzing sales performance data and developing action plans to improve results.
• Proficiency with dealership CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
