Job description

• Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a motivated Release Management Business Analyst to support a federal client in coordinating software releases, supporting delivery operations, and ensuring effective communication across technical and functional teams in a secure federal environment.
• In this role, you will help manage release-related activities, support reporting requirements, and maintain project tracking tools while serving as a key liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams. You will play an important role in ensuring release processes are organized, transparent, and aligned with program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate functional and technical release activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Configure and maintain Jira dashboards, workflows, and reporting mechanisms to support release visibility and delivery tracking
• Support backlog refinement, release planning, and sprint activities in collaboration with development and product teams
• Coordinate release schedules, deployment timelines, and readiness activities across technical and functional teams
• Monitor release milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items to support successful delivery outcomes
• Track release dependencies, risks, and change impacts to support successful production deployments
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership
• Own weekly and monthly reporting requirements and communicate status updates to program leadership and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain release documentation, meeting artifacts, and process guidance materials
• Support release planning, tracking, and execution activities to ensure timely delivery of software enhancements
• Support process improvement initiatives related to release management, reporting, and delivery operations

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret Clearance required
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Minimum of 0–2 years experience with Atlassian Jira
• Minimum of 0–2 years experience in client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement
• Experience coordinating project activities, software releases, or delivery milestones across multiple stakeholders
• Experience developing executive-level reports, status updates, or performance metrics for stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in a client-facing role
• Experience supporting software release management or delivery operations activities
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Experience creating dashboards, workflows, or reporting solutions within Jira
• Experience supporting federal government programs or secure environments
• Experience working directly with clients, stakeholders, or program leadership teams
