• Candidates for year-round positions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted up to 90 days after the posting date, or until the position is filled (whichever is first).
• The Equipment Operator will operate a variety of equipment, trucks, and tractors for the purpose of mountain and utility repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate pickup trucks and a variety of equipment such as skid steers, backhoes,loaders, and tractors for the purpose of street, utility repair, maintenance, snow removal and construction.
• Provide excellent internal and external guest service.
• Monitor all equipment and make sure that all issues are addressed promptly and communicated with leads and manager.
• Operate light equipment such as shovels, rakes, back pack blowers, weed whips, power brooms and other hand operated tools.
• Perform routine traffic control to facilitate safe traffic flow.
• Provide labor for street operation maintenance, waste and litter removal, recycling efforts, and special event support.
• Attend Company training classes as required for position.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers license and clean driving record - required
• High school diploma or equivalent - required
• Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently - required
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs - required
• Able to work outdoors in an alpine environment
• High School Diploma or GED - preferred
• Valid Driver's License – required
• Previous heavy equipment experience - required
• Previous guest service experience - required
• Read, Write, and Speak English fluently - required
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical labor - required
• Ability to work outside in a high alpine environment - required
• At least 1-year heavy equipment experience - required
• Experience using power tools - preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to lift and carry 100lbs

Skills

• The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
