• In this dynamic, cross-cultural role, you will act as a liaison between our company and Japanese beauty manufacturers. You will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and promoting new and existing brands to help bring them successfully into the U.S. market.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Japanese manufacturers to understand product details, branding, and company goals
• Conduct product and brand research to evaluate U.S. market potential
• Act as a buyer to identify and pitch promising brands for distribution
• Gather feedback from internal stakeholders on how products should be marketed and sold in the U.S.
• Coordinate with internal teams to plan promotions and product rollouts
• Maintain clear, consistent communication and reporting with leadership and partners

Requirements

• Fluent in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong communicator, especially in timely updates and reporting
• Comfortable working with manufacturers and clients in a business development capacity
• Self-motivated and humble, with a strong work ethic
• Able to thrive in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment
• Experience in beauty, import/export, or consumer goods is a plus
