- Entry to intermediate level position responsible for designing elevator control systems to match customer driven and code required specifications. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, software, and components for elevators.
- Organize and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs.
- Apply applicable elevator, building, and electrical code.
- Contribute to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.
- Use AutoCAD to design and draft elevator applications.
- Provide support to field site installations.
- Create technical documents pertaining to new design, use of new device and work process changes.
- Provide support to factory during fabrication of elevator control systems.

Requirements
- Education: BSEE/BSEET or related
- Experience: Preferred 2-4 years' experience in design or manufacturing role.
