• Weekdays Only | Flexible Schedule
• Copper Hills Youth Center is a Joint Commission‑accredited adolescent residential treatment facility serving boys and girls ages 12–17. Located 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City International Airport, we provide trauma‑informed, individualized care in a structured therapeutic setting.
• We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide onsite, non‑emergent medical care for adolescents in our residential programs.
• Provide low‑acuity medical care and admissions H&Ps.
• Independent practice within a structured, collaborative residential environment.
• Weekdays only (no weekends are required).
• Part‑time or full‑time flexibility.
• Onsite role (no call).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries (rashes, infections, ingrown toenails, common illnesses).
• Complete medical histories and physicals for new admissions.
• Prescribe medications within scope.
• Order and review labs and X‑rays as needed.
• Identify conditions requiring outside care and coordinate referrals.
• Collaborate with clinical and residential staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Utah APRN license (or ability to obtain).
• 1–2 years post‑graduate clinical experience preferred (primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, or adolescent health).
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Comfort working with adolescent behavioral health populations.
