Job description

• As a member of the Project Management Office, the Operations Project Consultant is part of a team of Consultants responsible for guiding the organization in solving complex business issues from strategy through execution. This position will be a hybrid and this individual needs to reside in the KC metro or Saint Louis area.

Responsibilities

• Skills and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
• Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences
• Translate strategic initiatives into operations
• Enable rapid redesign of business processes to achieve greater efficiencies and adapt business models to industry changes
• Develop and implement innovative, data-driven solutions to enhance business processes and performance
• Lead project teams, emphasizing the ability to build collaborative relationships with team members including but not limited to: the medical staff, nursing and other clinical areas, administration, and operational/support services to drive projects to execution
• Work autonomously with little direction
• Manage and conduct quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data
• Own and deliver projects - including bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from all stakeholders and team members
• Deliver significant business results that utilize strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative
• Build productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback
• Utilize pragmatic approaches to achieve sustainable financial results and operational models
• The selected candidate will gain technical skills and critical professional behaviors to expand upon previous experience, knowledge and skills. The selected candidate will additionally work with a wide variety of strategic and operational leaders and learn how to develop, implement, and measure innovative strategies, tackle real-world business issues head-on, and guide Saint Luke’s Health System to its vision of the “the best place to get care, the best place to give care.”
