Job description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with a variety of tasks, including legal research, document preparation, case management, client communication and a background in real estate. This role requires strong analytical skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and precedents.
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, creating timelines, and coordinating witnesses.
- File and maintain legal documents, both electronically and in physical records.
- Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure compliance with court requirements.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel in a professional manner.
- Review and summarize legal documents and transcripts.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of court forms and documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a legal setting
- Real Estate background required
- Understanding of deeds
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate complex information effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with Timeshare is a plus but not required
