Responsibilities
- The DevOps Integration Engineer - Submarine Combat Systems, will be responsible for integration of software components into the Linux-based Common Computing Environment (CCE) PaaS. The candidate will also be responsible for improving the software build process along with setup and configuration of hardware/software test environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Skilled in integrating containerized software applications in Kubernetes or another container runtime such as Docker Swarm.
- Skilled in development of bash and python scripts to automate installation, test, and monitoring of software components
- Advanced troubleshooting techniques for isolation of software problems
- Experience with Ansible infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification.
