Job description

• RQ Construction is seeking experienced Construction Project Managers to support active U.S. military projects in Norfolk, Virginia. You'll lead projects from pre-construction through completion, managing teams, schedules, budgets, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of progressive construction experience
• 2+ years managing commercial construction projects
• Design-build experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet-based systems
• Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required; training may be provided as needed
• STS certification preferred
• LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) credentials are a plus
• All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
