Job description

• Tier One Partners is seeking a driven Senior Account Executive to serve a critical function on our Tier One account teams. In this role, you'll help support the public relations, content, and social media goals of our clients, while overseeing and developing the Account Executive, Assistant Account Executive, and Account Coordinator on your accounts to ensure goals are achieved and deadlines are met. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of client relationships and results, while stepping into a team leadership and mentoring role.

Responsibilities

• Client Service & Media Relations
• ● Maintain outstanding client relationships through successful execution of client initiatives, effective communications, reporting, and problem-solving.
• ● Draft and develop press materials, including press releases, pitch letters, media advisories, executive bios, and fact sheets, as well as basic memos and marketing materials, in a precise and efficient manner.
• ● Edit content and collateral before sending to clients for approval.
• ● Identify and secure media placements across print, broadcast, and web, and conceive creative approaches to position clients as thought leaders and market influencers.
• ● Create, develop, and pitch story ideas and interview opportunities to trade, online, and business press.
• ● Manage and grow strong relationships with editors, reporters, columnists, bloggers, and other media contacts.
• Team & Account Leadership
• ● Take the lead in supervising the Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Executive, and Account Executive; train them on skills necessary for their roles and foster a team environment.
• ● Effectively manage up to supervisors, keeping the team informed on progress against goals and anticipating next steps.
• ● Utilize project management skills to take ownership of multiple deliverables and projects, on deadline.
• ● Manage allocated hours on accounts, maintaining client utilization in the ~85% range.
• Strategy & Growth
• ● Participate in regular client meetings and internal account brainstorming sessions, coming prepared with new ideas.
• ● Support new business development, including inquiry meetings and research and editing of new business proposals.
• ● Stay current with innovative approaches to standard communications projects and share new trends and best practices with the team.

• ● Analytical Operator: Confidently digests complex, disparate data, while successfully managing financial details and account metrics-such as tracking allocated client hours to maintain target utilization
• ● Bachelor's degree.
• ● 3+ years of industry-related experience.
• ● Technically proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• ● Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; a self-starter and team player who is discreet, honest, and trustworthy.

• The expected salary for this role is $72,000-78,000 annually, and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
