- The Medical Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership across all medication management and psychiatric programs. This individual ensures CARF/COMAR compliance, supervises prescribing providers, and upholds medical integrity system-wide.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric oversight to NPs and other prescribing clinicians
- Lead monthly case reviews and chart audits
- Implement quality and risk management protocols
- Maintain collaboration/supervision per Maryland law
- Lead clinical compliance during audits or site visits
Requirements
- MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry
- Active Maryland license
- 5+ years clinical experience (outpatient preferred)
- Experience supervising mid-level providers
