- We're currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist
- This position will be based out of our corporate HQ in Piscataway NJ
- The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the company and provides professional, courteous, and efficient support to employees, visitors, clients, and callers. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls and mail, greeting visitors, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, employees, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and take accurate messages as needed.
- Manage the reception area and maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance.
- Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Notify appropriate employees when visitors or deliveries arrive.
- Respond to routine inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department or employee.
- Assist employees and departments with miscellaneous administrative requests and projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling company, employee, and visitor information.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a busy corporate environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
