- Level III is Onsite at Los Angeles, CA
- We are looking for experienced Data Engineers to support a large-scale Oracle to Snowflake migration initiative. This role involves dbt development, data transformation, pipeline validation and Snowflake optimization, along with strong collaboration across onsite and offshore teams.
Responsibilities
- Level II Data Engineer 5+ years
- Develop and maintain dbt models
- Perform Oracle to Snowflake data transformation
- Validate data using row count & checksum methods
- Monitor ETL pipelines and ensure data accuracy
- Optimize SQL for Snowflake performance
- Level III Onsite - Lead / Architect 10+ years
- Design Snowflake architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
- Define dbt standards, macros and CI/CD practices
- Lead UAT and stakeholder coordination
- Handle critical migration issues and production cutover
- Manage offshore delivery teams
Requirements
- Strong experience in dbt and Snowflake
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Oracle to Snowflake migration
- Data validation and testing expertise
- Experience with Git, VS Code and CI/CD practices
- AWS Data Engineering (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Data Lake / ELT pipeline experience
