We're seeking a Bookkeeper - Junior Accounting Clerk to join our Landover, MD team in a part-time position. Responsibilities
- In this partially remote finance position, you overcome a variety of bookkeeping and financial challenges to produce incredible results for our clients. With your keen eye for detail, you coordinate a wide range of functions while ensuring total accuracy. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, producing monthly financial packages, pulling monthly statements and payroll reports, balancing indirect cost reports, and managing bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
- As directed by your lead, you complete tasks such as monthly client invoicing, completing journal entries, and reviewing and amortizing prepaid accounts. No matter what you're doing, you complete every task accurately, promptly, and in accordance with our firm's expectations. You take pride in performing this essential service and helping guide our clients' financial futures!
Requirements
- Associate degree OR current pursuit of a bachelor's in accounting or finance
- Some professional bookkeeping experience
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Can you think on your feet and quickly address problems as they arise? Are you an out-of-the-box thinker? Do you pay attention to even the smallest of details?
