Job description

• A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of law firm experience to join its Public & Private Infrastructure & Real Estate practice. The team handles sophisticated real estate matters across the United States and internationally, representing real estate investors, developers, financial institutions, Fortune 100 corporations, and other businesses for which real estate is a significant component of their operations.
• The Real Estate Associate Attorney will handle sophisticated commercial real estate matters and work closely with clients, business teams, and other legal professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and communication skills, sound judgment, and a thorough understanding of title, survey, and other commercial real estate due diligence.

Responsibilities

• The practice represents clients across the full range of commercial real estate transactions, including tenants, landlords, lenders, syndicators, brokers, entrepreneurs, buyers, sellers, and individual and institutional investors. Matters include:
• Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
• Real estate finance
• Commercial leasing
• Real estate development
• Planning and zoning
• Construction
• Single-asset and multi-asset transactions
• Renewable and conventional energy project acquisition and development

Requirements

• 3–5 years of law firm experience in Real Estate & Land Use
• Experience in a sophisticated national law firm environment preferred
• Strong experience with real estate finance, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, and other sophisticated commercial real estate transactions
• Experience handling both single-asset and multi-asset transactions
• Strong understanding of title, survey, and commercial real estate due diligence
• Experience with renewable and conventional energy project acquisition and development is a plus
• Strong academic record
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with clients, business teams, and legal teams
• Willingness to leverage innovative technology platforms, including AI tools, to enhance research, drafting, and analytical work
