Corporate Account Executive - China at Veson Nautical in Shanghai, China

Job description

• Veson Nautical is a well-established and rapidly growing software company working to provide end-to-end logistical, operational, and analytical solutions to propel the efficiency and effectiveness of Maritime Commerce.
• As part of the Corporate Sales team, the Corporate Account Executive will be the face of our company to prospective clients within the small to mid-sized market segments. You will identify new logo market opportunities, build meaningful business relationships, and consistently deliver against sales targets.
• The Corporate Account Executive will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to deal closure — while collaborating closely with internal teams to position Veson's solutions effectively and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business Growth
• Manage the sales process for new logo acquisition from prospecting through close, including lead generation, discovery, qualification, client meetings, proposal creation, and contract negotiations
• Focus on small to mid-sized accounts with potential for significant expansion
• Deliver and exceed annual sales targets for new business acquisition
• Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Lead Generation, and others
• Build & Manage Your Pipeline
• Independently source, build, and manage new business pipeline with 3–5x coverage to achieve goals
• Keep detailed and accurate records in Salesforce of all interactions, prospects, and opportunities
• Maintain appropriate pipeline hygiene and coverage, focusing on pipeline value, sales cycle, and conversion rates against benchmarks
• Proactively identify and pursue corporate opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted outreach campaigns
• Identify critical decision makers and develop relationships
• Sales Execution
• Conduct thorough discovery sessions to uncover business challenges and map solutions to client needs
• Navigate complex organizational structures to identify and engage key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Craft tailored value propositions and compelling proposals that differentiate Veson's offerings
• Lead negotiations with confidence, addressing concerns and handling objections skillfully
• Manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through
• Develop and maintain a functional understanding of Veson products

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on new business development or inside sales, or equivalent
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas in competitive environments
• Strong prospecting skills with demonstrated ability to generate pipeline independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage executives and technical stakeholders
• Self-directed work style with exceptional time management and organizational capabilities
• CRM proficiency, particularly with Salesforce or similar platforms
• Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle for B2B SaaS or enterprise technology products
• Understanding of SaaS business models, pricing structures, and value-based selling approaches
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities; able to handle objections effectively and close deals confidently
• Ability to build rapport and maintain trusted relationships across multiple stakeholder levels
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, market trends, and client performance indicators
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resilient under pressure
• Collaborative and adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience selling data and/or SaaS solutions preferred
• Knowledge of maritime, asset financing, insurance, shipping, or commodity trading industries is a plus
• Occasional travel will be required
