Job description

• A Table Games Concierge is responsible for providing quality guest service, guest satisfaction. Manage Poker Room reservations, data entries on computer and clerical work. Promote Family Style Service culture through actions and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all poker tables for open seats. Assist the poker hosts in calling new games.
• Helping accommodate valued players with account numbers, player cards and promotions on request.
• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Providing superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
• Be familiar with Title 31 guidelines and understand and utilize suspicious activity reports for casinos (SARC) when necessary.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities and assist as needed.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming license.
• Prior “in person” guest service and data entry experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
• Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.
• Possess effective learning skills.
• Requires prolonged standing and walking for 8 – 10 hours.
• Requires lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Requires reaching and bending.
