Embedded Software Engineer – Entry Level at GDMS in US-ID-Boise

Responsibilities

• As a software engineer for our Idaho Scientific group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and deploying secure system solutions through novel CPU design, crypto cores, purpose-built system-on-a-chip architectures, and hardened operating systems. Our solutions are the foundation for how military systems will remain safe and secure in the conflicts of the future.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math.
• [Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

• Strong foundation in relevant coursework or projects: embedded C/C++, RTOS, digital logic, Verilog/SystemVerilog, FPGA development, or ASIC design flow.

• Curiosity and collaboration: clear communication, willingness to learn quickly, and an ability to work thoughtfully with hardware and software engineers in a security-focused environment.

• Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience
