- Client is seeking an IT Product Owner, Pricing Technologies to define, manage, and execute the strategic roadmap for its pricing technology ecosystem, with primary ownership of the Vendavo platform suite, including Deal Manager, Price Manager, and related integrations.
- This role serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure pricing, quoting, approval workflow, and governance capabilities support commercial objectives while maintaining compliance and operational excellence. The Product Owner will partner closely with Pricing, Deal Desk, Salesforce, SAP, Commercial Operations, and IT teams to drive platform adoption, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- • Own and manage the strategic roadmap for Vendavo Deal Manager, Vendavo Price Manager, pricing approval workflows, and integrations with Salesforce, SAP, and related applications.
- • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, lead requirements gathering, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on pricing optimization, governance, and process simplification.
- • Partner with Pricing, Deal Desk, Pricing Strategy, and Commercial stakeholders to improve price management processes, deal review workflows, discount governance, quoting efficiency, and pricing analytics.
- • Serve as the primary IT relationship manager for Vendavo and related technology partners, including vendor performance management, platform upgrades, testing, release management, and deployments.
- • Ensure pricing systems comply with governance requirements, including SOX controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, role-based access controls, audit readiness, and change management processes.
- • Build partnerships across Pricing, Salesforce, SAP, Commercial Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, and IT teams while facilitating stakeholder alignment and communicating product strategy, risks, and delivery status.
- • Collaborate with development teams, architects, integration specialists, and business analysts throughout requirements definition, solution design, testing, deployment, release management, and production support activities.
- • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards while providing guidance on current and future platform capabilities.
Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Application Management, Business Systems Analysis, or related IT leadership roles.
- • Experience supporting pricing, quoting, sales operations, commercial systems, or revenue management platforms.
- • Strong understanding of business process design, workflow automation, and application governance.
- • Experience managing software vendors and third-party technology partners.
- • Knowledge of enterprise application development and deployment methodologies.
- • Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to deliver technology solutions.
- • Experience with Vendavo Deal Manager, Vendavo Price Manager, or other pricing optimization platforms.
- • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, CPQ, pricing strategy, or commercial operations functions.
- • Knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, and data management concepts.
- • Experience supporting SOX-controlled environments and audit requirements.
- • Agile Product Owner or equivalent product management experience.
- • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across business and IT organizations.
