Responsibilities

• As a Procurement Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of one of the United Kingdom's most significant clean energy infrastructure programmes, Sizewell C. Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you'll lead the development and delivery of procurement strategies and plans that support the successful delivery of a major piping programme.
• This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week based in Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, and occasional travel to customer sites will be expected.
• Leading the delivery of procurement strategies and plans to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C piping scope.
• Collaborating with project management, engineering, procurement, project controls and quality teams to achieve programme objectives.
• Managing interfaces with major engineering, procurement and construction contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Supporting the development of delivery plans that optimise safety, schedule performance and project costs.
• Identifying project risks and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a project management and procurement-focused role.
• Experience using NEC contracts and CEMAR contract management systems.
• Experience managing and coordinating major engineering, procurement and construction contractors and supplier relationships.
• Experience developing strategies that support health, safety and environmental risk reduction, schedule optimisation and cost efficiency.
• Experience identifying project risks and supporting the development of risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience.
