• The Account Manager is a key contributor on SXM Media’s Client Services team that drives and defends revenue by being a trusted client partner and resource working with internal and external partners to independently design, execute, monitor, and optimize advertising campaigns across a portfolio of Advertisers/Agencies. The right individual will be highly effective in communication, organization, and critical thinking, while thriving in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment. Your team will include thoughtful, problem-solving individuals who are passionate about growing the SiriusXM Media brands. This role applies developing professional expertise, company policies, and established procedures to resolve a variety of client, campaign, creative, technical, billing, and delivery issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate positive business relationships with clients and sales, creative design team, sales research, and technical teams.
• Partner with sales team to develop ideas and materials for Proposals/Avail submissions including media recommendations, research, competitive data, and advise on what is technically feasible to execute. Evaluate client objectives, inventory, product mix, technical requirements, and revenue impact to recommend appropriate campaign solutions.
• Be a product expert, know your client and the right SXM Media products that will meet their marketing needs and drive positive results.
• Ensure revenue goals consistently inform all facets of account management; design and execute media plans and campaigns; work directly with client on all pre-launch elements related to creative specifications and submission. Independently manage defined campaign tasks and apply judgment within established procedures to determine next steps, resolve variances, and escalate risks when needed.
• Create and manage creative and technical production timelines with Advertisers/Agencies and asset delivery to ensure campaigns launch in a timely manner.
• Work with internal traffickers, creative design, and client as needed to troubleshoot any ad creative issues that impact tracking, implementation, or reporting. Review campaign data and partner inputs to diagnose issues of moderate scope and recommend practical solutions.
• Be the frontline on all booked revenue to monitor campaign delivery and pacing; escalate issues when applicable. Proactively identify delivery risks, communicate options to internal and external partners, and support corrective action to protect revenue and client outcomes.
• Collaborate with billing team to resolve monthly invoicing queries.
• Provide necessary campaign deliverables including but not limited to: reporting, screenshots, and ad-hoc requests.
• Coordinate work with internal resources as necessary to support campaign execution, timelines, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in digital/radio/mobile advertising operations or account management.
• Extremely proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied tasks and campaigns in a timely manner.
• Excellent client service and verbal and written communication skills; results driven with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of pre- and post-sale process and creation of media plans; experience with custom display, mobile, audio, and video advertising products.
• Experience working within internal order management systems and third-party systems including ad servers.
• Ability to analyze campaign, client, and operational inputs to resolve a variety of issues and determine appropriate action within defined procedures and practices.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge across the department.
• Areas of experience that are preferred but not essential include: knowledge of programmatic transactions; performance campaign management handling conversion data and related ad technology.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

We expect the annual salary for this this position to be between $60,000 - $82,350 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
