Job description
- ACLAL SPEICALTY CONTRACTING, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR A PURCHASING CLERK
- WAGE SCALE: $26.00-$36.00
Responsibilities
- Placing orders for roofing materials and supplies as needed
- Follow up with Vendors regarding purchasing questions and discrepancies
- Receive and Verify Order Confirmations
- Running and reviewing key reports in SAP
- Confirm all coding is accurate
- Setting up vendor accounts
- Performs inquiry and posting of invoices, auditing quantity and pricing for accuracy
- Review and reconciliation of vendor statements
- Maintain material order logs
- Maintain Vendor discrepancy and issue logs
- Coordinate logistics with vendors
- Various other administrative duties as assigned
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of purchasing experience
- Must be able to operate a personal computer and other various standard office equipment
- Hands-on experience with SAP is preferred but not required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Regular attendance is required
- Valid CA driver’s license
