Job description

• Broadwell Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Waterpark Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our waterpark facility in Oswego, NY. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and efficient environment for guests and staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily waterpark operations, including scheduling, staff supervision, and guest services.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Train, motivate, and develop a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the waterpark to uphold quality standards.
• Monitor inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to support operations.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage operational reports and budgets.
• Lifeguard Instructor license preferred at time of hire, or must be acquired within 3 months of hire.
• CPO license preferred at time of hire, or must be acquired within 3 months of hire.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a hospitality or recreational environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of waterpark safety standards and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or business preferred.
