Material Systems Analyst II at AM General LLC in Mishawaka, IN

Responsibilities

• Use SAP to create Purchase Requisitions
• Serve as backup support to MES system specialist (Solumina)
• Change Management and Tracking Support - Engineering Change, Supplier Process Change, Supplier Resource Change, Configuration Management
• Analyze count data and investigate root causes for inventory discrepancies. This may include researching transaction history, material master set up, and asking questions out on the production floor
• Production order and Routing maintenance as it pertains to inventory
• Monitor ZEWM, correct issues, and clear errors
• Drive for continual improvement of processes to maintain optimal inventory accuracy
• Work closely with Inventory Control team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required; high school diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years’ experience
• Strong organizational skills, knowledge of MS Office Products, and Solumina preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbal and written and be able to work independently
• Good problem-solving skills, extensive SAP experience, and the ability to multitask are preferred
