- Ready to grow with us? Grandpa Joe's is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team at our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center in Robinson Township.
- If you're an experienced AP professional who loves staying organized, keeping things moving, solving discrepancies, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit!
- Our AP Specialist manages the full-cycle accounts payable process in a digital environment, from invoice intake through payment. You'll work closely with vendors and our internal team to make sure invoices are processed accurately, questions are resolved quickly, and our financial operations stay on track.
Responsibilities
- Manage invoice intake, coding, data entry, approvals, and payments
- Complete 3-way matching of purchase orders, receivers, and invoices
- Monitor the AP inbox and respond to vendor requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and maintain accurate vendor aging reports
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Monitor and enforce internal controls around disbursements
- Complete and submit monthly sales tax returns
- Complete and submit B&O tax returns as needed
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger
- Prepare reports related to cash flow, aging, and payables
- Prepare weekly financial reports for the Controller
Requirements
- We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, task-focused, and comfortable jumping into a busy environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role preferred
- Experience managing full-cycle AP
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- The ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
- An associate degree or higher is preferred, but relevant hands-on experience matters most
