Job description

• Citizens Commercial Services Advisory team is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst for our Atlanta office. The analyst will work closely with the team preparing, analyzing, and executing Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) related transactions, primarily within the U.S. middle market. All Analysts have significant exposure to senior bankers and are involved in all stages of a transaction; they are an integral part of delivery to our clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Managing and assisting with the preparation of financial models and business valuations
• Work with team members developing new business ideas, pitch strategies, or transaction structuring scenarios (inclusive of equity, debt and/or M&A) to help the firm’s corporate and sponsor clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives
• Leading / participating in meetings with current and prospective clients
• Conducting industry and company due diligence
• Preparing and reviewing information memoranda and other transaction documents: draft key marketing and key transaction related documents
• Preparing and reviewing pitch/business origination materials and other presentations: develop and review pitches and other presentations and be an integral part of the team in delivering these presentations
• Assisting business development efforts

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or similar role.
• Experience in Business Services sector is preferred.
