• Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Surgical Unit.
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
• Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights
• Supportive leadership team, with Nursing Assistants to assist
• Intensivists and NP’s work alongside RNs during shifts, Respiratory Therapy available at night
• Extra incentives available for picking up additional shifts

Responsibilities

• As a Med/Surg Nurse on this unit you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, and treatment plans. This unit does provide care to some telemetry patients as well. This nursing position will provide you with variety in your day-to-day and allow you to expand and grow your nursing skills.
• Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree
