• Opened in 1928, Augusta Municipal Golf Course, known locally as The Patch, has long been a gathering place in the community for those who love the game. In 2023, Masters Tournament Charities, Augusta Technical College and The First Tee of Augusta entered into a partnership to revitalize this historic property and preserve it for future generations. The Patch, managed by Bobby Jones Links, features a redesigned 18-hole course, led by golf course architects, Tom Fazio and Beau Welling, and a new 9-hole short course, The Loop at The Patch, designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design.
• The Patch is hiring for a Marketing, Communications, and Merchandise Manager. This position will oversee golf shop merchandise, online sales, website content, social media, and event marketing. In addition to a base salary, this position will receive 1% of net income from soft goods sales in the golf shop.

Responsibilities

• Manage golf shop Plan-to-Buy with the GM and Director of Golf.
• Coordinate receiving and inventory of all golf shop merchandise with the GM and Director of Golf.
• Manage the online store, including payments, orders, packing, and shipping.
• Maintain and update The Patch website using WordPress.
• Manage all social media platforms and keep information current.
• Take and organize photos for events, golf programs, and facility marketing.
• Create and post content for tournaments, leagues, clinics, programs, and special events.
• Create event posters, flyers, and promotional materials.
• Manage clubhouse event poster and information boards.
• Work with the golf and management teams to promote upcoming events and programs.
• Ensure that all public-facing information is accurate, timely, and professional.
• Ensure accountability of all merchandise within pro shop and warehouse.

Requirements

• Marketing, retail, golf, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Social media and WordPress experience.
• Online store/e-commerce experience preferred.
• Basic photography and graphic design skills preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Golf industry experience is a plus.
