Job description

• The ESIS Manager, Operations Services will lead and develop a team of operations associates supporting Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Liability claims. This role is responsible for overseeing claim registrations, financial controls, mail queues, clerical requests, customer service, and other operational functions as assigned. The ideal candidate will have strong people leadership, training, root cause analysis, and process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Align team goals with ESIS organizational objectives.
• Manage, coach, and develop direct reports effectively.
• Ensure team members execute assigned responsibilities successfully.
• Provide training and support to meet current and evolving business needs.
• Develop and implement improvement plans at both the individual and team levels.
• Plan ahead to ensure appropriate coverage and proactively identify risks.
• Work with the manager, peers, and team to address operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
• Present recommendations to stakeholders to gain alignment and support.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate across departments.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel occasionally for training and meetings, as approved by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing direct reports preferred.
• Strong ability to contribute in a team environment and support team goals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and support skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions.
• Insurance background, particularly in Commercial Auto, Liability, and Workers’ Compensation claims, preferred but not required.

Benefits

• The base salary range for the role is $73,000 to $107,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
