- As a Software Engineer III you will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world’s most advanced robotic fulfillment system! Nimble Cloud Logistics is a lean, 10-person team that is core to delivering effective solutions to Nimble’s customers. On occasion, the team is expected to work extended hours, including weekends, to launch large revenue opportunities for the company. This role is approximately 60% backend, 40% frontend focused. Please note, no robotics or logistics experience required for this role.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation workflows, write unit/integration/system tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for performance and quality
- Push and maintain code in production
- Be available for production support
- Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products
- Be able to ship a feature end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure
- Be a mentor for junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Solid understanding of cloud security practices
- Experience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)
- Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
- Good understanding of writing unit and integration tests
- Strong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams + sequence diagramming)

- The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $160,000 and $210,000/year. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this position will also receive generous equity for this position.
