• Hunter Chevrolet is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team!
• As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the important connection between our customers and our technicians. You’ll listen to customer concerns, recommend services, explain repairs, and keep customers informed throughout the service process. Your ability to communicate clearly and build trust will help create an exceptional experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience
• Welcome customers and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on customer needs.
• Explain recommended repairs and services in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
• Provide accurate estimates and keep customers informed of costs and timelines.
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and earn their trust.
• Service Coordination
• Schedule and manage service appointments.
• Open, update, and close repair orders accurately.
• Work closely with technicians to understand vehicle concerns and recommended repairs.
• Communicate repair updates, additional work, and changes in timelines or costs.
• Help maintain an efficient workflow between customers, technicians, and the service department.
• Ensure all customer and repair order information is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, automotive, or a related field.
• Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in a simple and professional way.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Basic automotive knowledge or an interest in learning about vehicle service is helpful.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
